Biography
Dave Fisher was Director of the Tonmeister Programme from 1984 until 2011. Before that he worked for the BBC, both at Television Centre in London, and later at the Engineering Training Department where he specialised in Television Sound. He has previously been a Director of the Association of Professional Recording Services and has chaired the IEE's "New Broadcast Systems and Standards" organising committee.
He is particularly interested in digital audio systems, recording techniques and microphone placement, new broadcast systems, and analogue recording, and has published chapters in Sound Recording Practice (OUP).
