Biography

Before joining the staff at IoSR Tim worked as a service engineer and operational trainer for Solid State Logic. Prior to this he provided studio maintenance and operational support at the London College of Music, where he also taught classes in recording techniques and audio engineering. He has also spent time with the BBC as a transfer engineer responsible for preserving their radio archives, and as a maintenance engineer at Richmond Film Services.

He is particularly interested in analogue audio electronics and loudspeaker design.

Tim is an active musician in his spare time, releasing dub/roots music for his own record label. He also enjoys restoring aircooled Volkswagens.
