Why Choose Surrey?

The Surrey Experience

We believe university life should provide a well-rounded education, diverse opportunities and also help develop new ways of thinking.  At Surrey we offer a challenging yet supportive environment for our students to explore their potential and discover their talents.

With a specific focus on the development of professional skills and experience, Surrey graduates are renowned for consistently being at the top of the employability scale.

160 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a broad range of disciplines allow our students to progress confidently to their chosen careers.  Our students receive quality subject teaching as well as a rounded practical approach, giving them the leading edge employers are looking for.

A Surrey education doesn’t just inspire students - it enables them to achieve success on their terms.

Making sure your son or daughter chooses the right university is crucial to a happy and successful university life.  They will need to consider both the campus and facilities and also the local town or city.

Surrey’s modern campus provides a dynamic and enriching experience for all its students including access to state-of-the-art learning and sports facilities and high quality accommodation.  Situated in Guildford on the edge of the Surrey Hills, our students enjoy a beautiful location in which they can socialise, relax and experience Surrey life.  London is only 40 minutes away with a direct train link to London Waterloo.

Surrey is one of the safest counties in the country and the low crime rates reflect this.
