Surrey Physics is top for MScs

The recent Guardian Postgraduate 2011 tables for MSc courses in the UK have confirmed University of Surrey as the largest provider of Physics MSc places in the country.

The Guardian Physics Postgraduate survey for 2011 identified 8 major UK Universities which offer Physics MSc courses, including Surrey, Imperial College, UCL and Manchester. The survey placed Surrey top for total number of students, with 87 fulltime and 21 partime Physics MSc students. The Surrey Physics cohort of 108 MSc students was larger than both UCL (97 students) and Imperial College (76 students).

Surrey Physics is also very competitive in terms of its tuition fees - with typical MSc fee for overseas students of £13,500 per year. This compares very favourably with Imperial College which has a typical overseas student fee of £23,400.
