Research paper by Surrey academic passes the 100 citations mark
A paper, entitled "Nuclear matter and neutron star properties calculated with the Skyrme interaction", written by Surrey Academic Dr Paul Stevenson and collaborators, and published in 2003 has now been cited by more than 100 other scholarly articles. The paper has become the standard reference for those using certain types of nuclear interaction to understand how they can calculated observed properties of neutron stars, ultra-dense "supernuclei" which are the remnants of stars which collapse in supernova explosions.
