Following the publication of the UAE's Nuclear Policy in 2008 and the announcement in December 2009 to purchase four Korean APR 1400 PWR reactors, Khalifa University has embarked on a fast track programme to establish a nuclear engineering program to support the nuclear industry and regulator in the UAE.  This lecture will provide an overview of our developments over the past two years and our way forward for the future.
