Ryan Foster awarded SEPnet Bursary
Friday 25 June 2010
Ryan Foster, Level 2 MPhys student, has been awarded a SEPNet Bursary to research High Energy and Particle Physics at Queen Mary University of London for an 8-week summer experimental/academic internship this year. Specifically this project will use the techniques developed at the existing B-Factories to identify an interesting decay channel and modify the SuperB software in such a way as is appropriate in order to study the potential to make measurements that may elucidate new physics (i.e. physics beyond the standard model).
Ryan's supervisor at Queen Mary University of London is former Surrey MPhys Graduate Dr. Adrian Bevan.
