Professor Paddy Regan completes the double!

Congratulations!
Surrey Physics Professor Paddy Regan has just completed a double, running both the Great North and Great South runs for the Mental Health Charity MIND. Paddy, pictured here at the MIND tent following the Great South Run with fellow Surrey nuclear physics Professor and broadcaster Jim Al-Khalili who came along to support him, said, 'MIND is an excellent charity to support and does a lot of amazing work for a much misunderstood series of health issues. Regarding the running, I'm delighted to have just gotten around, even though my times were what you might expect for a middle aged nuclear physics academic. As a nuclear physicist, I'm used to the idea of things decaying, that's how I felt after I got over the finish line, but I feel a bit less sore now.' Well done Paddy.
