Surrey is top for jobs

A recent article in the Telegraph has highlighted the importance of graduate employment for todays graduating students. As a national average there are now nearly 70 graduates vying for every job vacancy, whilst nationally graduate unemployment has reached a 17-year high. Latest figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) show a large difference in employment prospects between UK universities, and Surrey has been confirmed again as the top of the table for graduate employment. Last year the University of Surrey recorded the UK's highest graduate employment rate, with just 30 of its 935 graduates left out of work.
