Schrodinger's Cat in a Silicon Chip
Surrey research has been chosen for the 2011 Royal Society Summer Exhibition. Work on the COMPASSS grant has shown how atoms trapped in a silicon crystal can be put in a quantum superposition of both oscillating and not oscillating at the same time, taking us a step closer to quantum computing.
