Prof David Bradley Elected Fellow

Professor David Bradley elected Fellow of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences

At the 18th Conference of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences held on 22nd-24th October 2011 in Doha, Qatar, it was announced that Professor David Bradley has been elected a Fellow of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences. 

Professor Syed M. Qaim, Head of Nuclear Chemistry, Juelich who nominated Professor Bradley, commented that this year Professor Bradley was one of only three candidates from a field of 20 who had been accepted to be inducted into the Academy. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘The Islamic World and the West: Rebuilding bridges through science and technology.
