Matt Reed Wins IOP Nuclear Physics Prize

Matt Reed has won this year's "early career researcher" prize given by the Nuclear Physics Group of the Institute of Physics.
This award recognises Matt's excellent contribution to research into the properties of nuclear isomers using the Experimental Storage Ring at GSI. The prize is awarded to promising early-career scientists for outstanding contributions to the field of Nuclear Physics. Matt is aiming to finish his PhD thesis this month, and he will be invited to present his work at the annual IOP Nuclear Physics Conference.
