Combating Social Exclusion

A major part of our work is concerned with the research and development of interventions to combat social exclusion. We have over fifteen years' experience of working with and for the unemployed and on issues of Social Exclusion. These pages give a brief overview of some of our work:

  • refugees, asylum seekers and migrants
  • voluntary repatriation of refugees
  • former substance abusers and addiction
  • disaffected young people
  • gender and equal opportunities
  • empowerment descriptions and indicators
  • evaluation and accreditation in advice and guidance
  • Roma and traveller communities
  • transitions between education and employment
  • social exclusion, poverty and discrimination indicators
  • child poverty and childen's rights
  • harassment in the workplace
  • the digital divide
  • employability and discrimination
  • European identity and integration
  • evaluation methodologies
  • external consultancies

A series of occasional papers and reports have now been posted to provide more detailed discussion of the issues related to these topics. The work is undertaken in partnership with other organisations across Europe and beyond.
