University awarded funding for 5G Innovation Centre

By 2025, 5.5 billion people could be living in water-stressed countries. But not if we can help it.

Our multidisciplinary water-research groups (including experts from our Departments of Chemistry and Sociology, our Schools of Law and Psychology, our Division of Civil, Chemical & Environmental Engineering, our Centres for Environmental Strategy and Osmosis Research & Applications, and our Surrey Space Centre) have put us at the cutting edge of water treatment, testing, distribution, conservation, recycling and regulation.

We recently won a prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize for our advances in water research. More importantly, our innovations and initiatives are already helping people around the world to improve their lives by making better use of their available water.
