Statistics Links
Below are some useful resources
http://home.clara.net/sisa/ is Daan Uitenbroek’s SISA (Simple Interactive Statistical Analysis) page with lots of helpful utilities on it.
http://espse.ed.psu.edu/spsy/Watkins/Watkins3.ssi is Marley Watkins’ statistics software home page. It provides a whole range of freely downloadable statistics utilities for the Mac and Windows.
http://www.pbarrett.net/ leads to Paul Barrett’s home page which is a goldmine of useful advice and opinion as well as some handy software for dealing with factor analytic and item analysis problems (among other things). Paul hosts the IDANET individual differences listserv.
http://www2.gsu.edu/~mkteer/semfaq.html leads to Ed Rigdon’s structural equation modelling (SEM) web resources. Ed is the father of the very active SEMNET listserv and has an extensive FAQ resource for SEM problems. Go here if you want details of how to join SEMNET and get access to the archives of answers to loads of problems. SEMNET is a great listserv for getting pretty quick help on SEM problems and is also the venue for various lively philosophical debates about SEM and statistics in general.
http://members.aol.com/johnp71/javasta2.html leads to John C. Pezzullo's listing of free and nearly free stats software. An Alladin’s cave of goodies.
http://www.spsstools.net/ leads to Raynald Levesque’s collection of SPSS syntax and macros. SPSS can do a lot more than you might think and this link has loads of helpful utilities and stats routines.
