Psychologists at Surrey are no strangers to radio broadcasting. Head of School, Peter Hegarty spoke about his research on sexism and name order on Radio 4’s Today Programme in 2010.
Research on the language of “lads’ mags” conducted by Professor Miranda Horvath at Middlesex University with Dr Hegarty and students on the MSc in Forensic Psychology was also featured on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour in December 2011. You can watch Peter’s YouTube video about this research here.
