Research Interests

Thesis title: The application of the Health Action Process Approach in the treatment of obesity: Implications for research and practise

My research interests are centred around cognitive, behavioural and situational approaches to obesity. Currently I am involved in researching eating behaviours and weight loss in patients undergoing bariatric surgery. I am using the Health Action Process Approach (Schwarzer, 1992) as the theoretical framework for my research.

Supervised by Professor Jane Ogden and funded by the Economic Social Research Council.
