Research Interests
Theoretical foundations: Decision Science and Criminology. EG. human judgment, decision-making and choice, understanding and communicating uncertainty, risk perception and risk taking, probability, forecasting, heuristics, rational choice theory.
Applied domains: Criminal justice system, defence and national security. EG. crime, imprisonment, victim-offender mediation, bail, sentencing, standards of proof, lethal force, fingerprint analysis, digital forensics, violent extremism/terrorism, cyber crime and security.
I would be willing to supervise PhD theses that fall within these interests.
