Biography
Maureen Luden gained her MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from Middlesex University/Metanoia Institute and her C.T.A. (Certified Transactional Analyst) in Rome from the European Association for Transactional Analysis. She also has a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling from Roehampton Institute. For over ten years she trained with and was supervised by Petruska Clarkson at Physis. Maureen works integratively drawing from the Humanistic, Psychodynamic, CBT and Clarkson’s 5-Relationship models. She is also a qualified holistic aromatherapist. Maureen has worked in a variety of counselling/psychotherapy settings within the NHS and in Counselling Services. Before joining the team in the psychology department, Maureen worked as a Counselling Co-ordinator for a substance misuse service where she offered training and supervision for Volunteer Counsellors. She also worked in a multidisciplinary team at a London University Hospital where she ran therapeutic groups. She has a private psychotherapy practice. Maureen is a trilingual practitioner working in English, French and Spanish.
