Biography

He has a BA in Psychology awarded in 2004, an MA in Educational and Psychology Counselling 2006, an MPhil in Psychology at The University of Surrey, UK 2011 and an MA in Education at The University of Nottingham, UK 2012. He has been granted a scholarship from The Public Authority for Applied Education & Training (PAAET) in the State of Kuwait to study for his MA and PhD in Educational Psychology since April 2011. He is employed as a teacher at PAAET and is currently studying at The University of Surrey, UK.

He trained and volunteered at a number of centres as a Psychological Counsellor and Psychologist in 2004. He then worked as a Psychologist in 2006 in The Ministry of Social Affairs & Labour and Working in Kuwait. He became a teacher in primary school in 2008. He is a member of the British Psychological Society (Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership).

Research Interests

His work crosses the fields of psychology and education. His research has aimed to inform the relationship between emotional and/or behavioural problems and academic achievement in children and he is continuing this work for his PhD, supervised by Dr Alexandra Clifford and Dr Naomi Winstone.
