Closing date for applications

The closing date for applications for entry in September 2013 is 1 February 2013, after which a short list for interviews will be drawn up. Late applications will not normally be considered due to the short time scale and volume of applications received.

Interview Dates

Interviews for entry to the course in September 2013 will be held during April 2013.

All short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of the course officers and will be required to complete a written exercise and participate in an observed group discussion.

Applicants should be aware that trainees will be subject to checks by the Criminal Records Bureau during the course of their training and that some Trusts will require trainees to complete successful occupational health checks prior to seeing clients.  In light of this we encourage disclosure of health issues at an early stage so that we can think together about managing any particular issues or challenges that the trainee may face.
