Dear colleagues
You are warmly invited to attend a talk by Professor James Goodwin, Head of Research at Age UK.
From 9.50am - 10.40am, James will be giving an overview of Age UK's funding opportunities, strategic direction and successful projects.
The morning will provide you with a good opportunity to catch up with the Charity directly and hear an up to date account of its current structure and future plans. You will also be given the opportunity to have your questions answered during the Q+A session.
The talk will be introduced by Professor Sara Faithfull, Head of School of Health & Social Care (Acting) & Professor of Cancer Nursing Practice.
The programme of the morning will include:-
• 9.30 – 9.45 Registration & Refreshments
• 9.45 – 9.50 Welcome & Introduction
• 9.50 – 10.40 Talk by Age UK
• 10.40 – 11:00 Q+A
• 11.00 – 11.05 Close
• 11.15 – 12.15 1 to 1 sessions
1 to 1 sessions:-
The sessions can be on a 1 to 1 basis or as a small group meeting.
When applying for the 1 to 1 sessions please advise us what it is you are interested to discuss with James.
A time will be allocated to you on a first come, first serve basis and a session will last 20 minutes.
