Dear colleagues
You are warmly invited to attend 'An Introduction to Research Support Services' workshop , given by Research & Enterprise Support (RES) and Research Finance (RF).
The primary focus of the workshop is to explain the range of support offered by RES and RF to academic staff undertaking the often daunting process of applying for research funding.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, 25th April between 1.45pm and 4.15pm and will be aimed at new research and academic staff, those who have been here longer but have less experience of putting in research bids, and anyone else who feels they would benefit from knowing more about the system.
The workshop will be introduced by Charlie Kang, Research Development Officer, RES.
The programme for the day will include:-
- An introduction and overview of research support provided by RES and RF
- Other research services - Legal, Intellectual Property and KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnerships)
- Fellowships
- Summary and Q+A
- 1 to 1 sessions
If you would like to attend, please email Anne Hrassnigg at researchliaison@surrey.ac.uk by monday, 22nd April 2013.
We are looking forward to seeing you on the day.
