University of Surrey

Central Peer Review Process

In response to the major sponsors introducing measures to deal with demand management, a new approach has been adopted by the University of Surrey to ensure a steady and continuous flow of high quality applications and successful awards. The Strategy has been initiated at the DVC Research and Innovation's request.

The Central Peer Review Process will provide feedback on your proposal from experienced representatives at the University who have a track record of successful awards, this is designed to help enhance your proposal and give you the greatest opportunity for success.

Research and Enterprise Support (RES) will be coordinating the internal bid review process which will apply to a number of fellowship schemes run by the UK Research Councils and other major sponsors.

Heads of Department, RES, and Research Finance will provide full help and support at all stages of the application process.
