EU Support

The last call of Framework Seven is set to launch in July 2012 with no further calls until January 2014, when Horizon 2020 launches.

The UK success rate for proposals submitted to FP7 is around 23.8%, compared to an average across the EU Member states of 21.5%. 

In order to maximise the final round of Framework 7 funding resources are being focussed upon academics with a track record of success in Europe.

Funding is available to enable a member of staff from the University of Surrey to attend a meeting in mainland Europe to support bid development activity.

Precedence will be given to researchers who are experienced and have a successful track record at gaining EU funding, possibly as a Co-I but who have not necessarily led a bid.
