Group members convening at the 28th EGOS Colloquium

Dr Michael Wortmann and Professor Mike Geppert will convene a pre-colloquium workshop on "Work organization, employment and regulation in the retail industry" at the 28th EGOS Colloquium, Helsinki, Finland, July 5-7, 2012.
Professor Geppert will also act as a convenor of the EGOS pre-conference Paper Development Workshop on “Organizational Institutionalism: Studying Social Agency and Institutions in Local, National and International Contexts” which takes place on Wednesday, the 4th of July 2012.
Dr Ayse Saka-Helmhout will co-convene a Standing Work Group sub-theme on “The MNEs as a Challenge to Institutional Theory: Key Concepts, Recent Developments and Empirical Evidence” with Prof. Royston Greenwood, University of Alberta and Dr. Susanne Blazejewski, European University Viadrina.
Dr Saka-Helmhout will also be spending a week (27th Feb - 2nd March) at Concordia University, Canada, to work on a special issue proposal that will feature, among others, submissions to the 2012 EGOS Standing Work Group sub-theme. The special issue will focus, in particular, on papers that seek change through framing and resource mobilization where societal boundaries conflict.
