Theatre at Surrey
Theatre is amazing. When it works, theatre stops the world as we know it, it forces us see things another way, to make things begin again. In contemporary site-specific performance, on a West End stage or in analysing everyday spaces and practices, theatre changes everything.
At Surrey, we’re fascinated by theatre. We practice it, research it, teach and discuss its many and changing forms. In these pages, we try and tell you a little about this work: our research, our teaching, our fabulous staff and students. And about making performances that matter, performances that amaze.
We’re proud of what we do together, perhaps it’s the working together that’s the most important: theatre is fundamentally a process of collaboration. If you’d like to work with us to make theatre amazing, we’d love to hear from you.
