Computing

We run a number of different activities for schools and colleges to raise awareness of computing and its applications.  Activities range from talks at careers days through to workshops on campus.

Workshops we have run include those that explore security and cryptography through the film "The Matrix", a programming taster on building an image processing application, exploring web applications using "mashups", and a robotics event.

The University of Surrey is also a local hub for Computing at School. We have events once a term for teachers to meet up and share ideas. The hub is a great opportunity to make new contacts and find out about resources for teaching computing.

If you have a specific idea, or you would like to find out what we can offer, please get in touch with us.
