Please note the following from the University expenses and benefits policy (updated November 2010):

The ratio for entertaining at The Lakeside Restaurant will normally be expected to be one member of staff to one visitor. Current acceptable levels of entertaining are £22.50 per head for lunch and £35 per head for dinner (These rates include drinks).  Exceptions should be signed off by the Dean or Executive Board member concerned.
