Dr Vladimir Baláž joins Leverhulme project on tourism, migration and risk

Dr Vladimir Baláž has joined the Surrey Tourism Research Centre to work with Professor Allan Williams on a Leverhulme project on tourism, migration and risk. Dr Baláž, who is a research professor in the Slovak Academy of Science, is a behavioural economist who has published eight books and a number of papers on human mobility, financial services and risk. He is co-author with Allan Williams of Tourism in Transition: Economic Change in Central Europe (I B Tauris, 2000) and International Migration and Knowledge (Routledge 2008).
