Knowledge Transfer Partnership helps Elliott Marketing & PR to raise their profile and win new clients

Since March 2010, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management has been engaged in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with marketing agency Elliott Marketing & PR. A major part of the project has involved exploring the opportunities for UK food and drink operators arising from the London Olympics. Last year the project’s market analyst Ian Lacey visited Vancouver and conducted a series of in-depth interviews with operators and tourism professionals about their experiences during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
This unique Olympics insight has been used to develop a new area of expertise for Elliott Marketing & PR which has significantly raised the Company’s profile. Leading restructuring and corporate advisors Zolfo Cooper asked Elliott Marketing & PR’s Managing Director Ann Elliott to provide her thoughts on how London 2012 will impact on the leisure market for their current Leisure Wallet Report (page 5).
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the School has helped Elliott Marketing & PR to provide consultancy work for several well-known names including Pizza Express and Punch Taverns, and secure a number of other new clients.
