Biography
Duangthida Nunthapirat graduated her Master Degree of Business Administration, concentrated on Marketing Management from University of Technology Sydney, Australia in 2006, before that she also obtained another MSc in Hospitality Management from University of Birmingham. She worked as a full-time lecturer in Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Industry in Rangsit University, Thailand. In the year 2008, she was been promoted to be the Head of Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Program. Duangthida is currently taking her PhD at the University of Surrey sponsored by Rangsit University.
From her previous work experience on hospitality industry, she has been chosen to be one of member of Thailand Hotel Standard Committee arranged by Thai Hotel Association. For her previous research experience, she has done qualitative research on her Master Dissertation about "Outsourcing the Management of Hotel Restaurant: A Case Study Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa, Thailand". She also did a co-research with another two lecturers from Faculty of Health and Medical Science in Rangsit University about " Hotel Business: Quality of Life Issue, Pilot Study in 2009. Her recent research interest is about the impact of hotel website on hotel brand image.
Duangthida is a member of Committee for Thai Hotel Standard,Thai Hotel Association, Thailand.
Research Interests
Research Topic/Title: The impact of website on hotel brand image
Research Questions/Objectives: To identify the relationship between the hotel brand image and perception of customers towards hotel website.
