Biography
Zheng joined the University of Surrey as a PhD researcher in January 2012. With solid academic background in Economics, he is particularly interested in tourism demand modelling and economic impact of tourism. His PhD thesis is on modelling the interrelationship of tourism demand for multiple destinations.
Prior to doing his PhD, Zheng worked as a research assistant in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for two years. He has gained extensive experience in empirical research on tourism demand, economic impact and destination competitiveness. His works have been published in Annals of Tourism Research and Tourism Management.
