The Whitbread Prize
A prize of £500, donated by Whitbread plc, to be offered annually to a final year student on the BSc programme in International Hospitality Management who gains the highest overall mark.
The Joan Stone Award
A prize of £50 to be awarded to a first year student on one of the School’s hospitality or tourism courses who has made the most progress in a language module.
The Savoy Educational Trust Professional Stage Prizes
Five annual prizes of £200 each awarded for the best Professional Training Reports presented by students on the BSc (Hons) programmes in International Hospitality Management and International Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The Savoy Educational Trust Dissertation Prize
A prize of £500 awarded to two students with the best dissertation in International Hotel Management.
Edith Clarke Trust Prize
A prize of £250 offered by the Edith Clarke Trust to be awarded to the first year student on the BSc (Hons) programme in International Hospitality Management who gains the highest mark in the Lakeside Restaurant Operations module.
Association for Tourism in Higher Education Prize
A certificate awarded to the best postgraduate student on a Tourism programme.
The Great Fosters, Egham Prize
A prize of £250 offered by the Great Fosters, Egham, to the overall level 2 student on BSc (Hons) courses in International Hospitality Management or International Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The Ian Eldridge Events Management Prize
This prize is awarded annually for the highest scoring team in the level 2 Hospitality Event Management module. The sum of £500 in cash is split between winning team members, with a further £500 allotted for a team celebration meal.
The Institute of Hospitality Prize
The prize is awarded to a first year student showing the best performance during practical classes in the Lakeside Restaurant. The prize consists of £100, having their name engraved on the Institute of Hospitality cup, and, after graduation, a free year’s membership of the Institute of Hospitality.
Surrey International Graduates Network (Signet) Prize
A prize of £250 awarded to the best final year student from each of the following programmes: International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Tourism Management, Business Retail Management and Accounting and Finance.
