Professor Sara Arber - Oustanding Achievement Award

Professor Sara Arber was awarded the 2011 Outstanding Achievement Award at the British Society of Gerontology's annual conference in Plymouth last week.
Professor Arber's award was made in recognition of her outstanding contribution to social gerontology in the UK. As this is the 40th Anniversary year of the British Society of Gerontology three awards were made, the other two recipients being Professor Chris Phillipson of Keele University and Professor Tony Warnes of the University of Sheffield.
