Professor Rachel Brooks, Head of the Department of Sociology has recently published the book Negotiating Ethical Challenges in Youth Research published by Routledge in November 2012.
She wrote a report on widening access and student retention and appeared on the panel for an event addressing the same topic, both for the Higher Education Academy.
She is now organising a Higher Education Academy seminar here at the University of Surrey on 29th January (Furthering Equality in International Higher Education: UK and Transnational Programmes and has just signed a contract with Routledge for a new book called 'Ethics in education research’.
