To Subscribe:

EITHER log on to:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/qual-software.html
and choose the "Join or leave the list" option

OR By e-mail send a message to:
jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk

In the text of the untitled message enter:
join qual-software [your first name your second name]

Nothing further needs to be appended and if you have a signature block, it is better to suppress this when sending commands, (such as the 'join' command) to the server. You will then receive confirmation of your subscription and information about the list. From then on messages to the list are sent to:
qual-software@jiscmail.ac.uk
