Fees for Day Courses in Social Research
Course fees vary according course type and your role and status. See table below for current fees.

Doctoral Training Centre : subsidy for student places
We are able to offer reduced fees for students on some of our more advanced courses and workshops as a result of our collaboration with the South Eastern Doctoral Training Centre (SEDTC).
If you are applying for one of these places make sure you apply correctly according to the institution you attend and the discipline in which you study.

CANCELLATION / POSTPONEMENT POLICY
For Government/Commercial and Academic/Charitable places :
Up to 10 days before - full refund of fee;
Up to 5 days before - half refund of fee;
Under 5 days - no refund.
If an invoice has already been raised then an Admin fee will also be payable.
For Student places:
After a place has been allocated and accepted
– if your place can be filled from the waiting list – full refund of fee;
- if you place cannot be filled – half refund of fee.

STUDENTS please note:
Make sure you apply for the correct type of student place as detailed in the table below. Student places on all courses are limited and allocated on a ‘first-come-first-served basis’.
Places for certain of the reduced fee places are capped and unless you book early, you may not receive a place at that rate.
There are usually waiting lists in operation for the reduced fee student places. If you want to guarantee a confirmed place you must pay the Academic rate.
