Autonomy Group awarded EPSRC Grant
Thursday 2 August 2012
The Surrey Space Centre (SSC) Autonomy & AI Group is one of a few selected university academic teams to take part in the EPSRC Programme on Intelligent & Autonomous Systems. SSC researchers will be developing reliable autonomy that can be reconfigured for different industrial applications - from space, nuclear, energy to transport sectors. Entitled 'Reconfigurable Autonomy', the project aims to develop 'plug & play' libraries for a generic software architecture supporting future applications and functionalities.
The photo on our SSC Facebook Page shows the UK industrial sponsors from these sectors with the academic groups at the theme workshop in Schlumberger Research Centre, Cambridge.
