It's time to count down for World Travel Market 2011 (www.wtmlondon.com) – UK’s biggest travel trade show staged annually at ExCel, London. Visitors will be able to keep up to date with the latest development of destination and tourism marketing, and to meet with 5,000 exhibitors from around the globe. |
Admission to WTM is primarily open for travel trade professionals, media, and ministers only. Individual students are unfortunately not invited. However, STES is arranging a full day group visit to WTM on 9th November (Wed), which provides the exclusive opportunity for STES members to attend the country's premier travel trade event.
STES will be arranging admission pass for attending STES members. The final admission arrangements will be explained on the day, and are subject to the policy of WTM. Due to the heavy administrative process of pass application, please note that a £20 deposit will be needed to ensure attendance. The deposit will be fully refunded to attending members on the day.
If you are interested to attend WTM 2011, please follow the instructions below:
1. Put £20 deposit in a sealed envelope. (will be refuned to attending members on the day)
2. Write down your name, programme title, phone number, email address on the envelope.
3. Drop the envelope into STES' mail box (No.23) at Student Support Office, Ground Floor, School of Management Building on or before 1st November.
STES will contact attending students individually for the meet up time at the Guildford Railway Station. Transportation costs to & from ExCel and lunch will be at the student’s own expense. Please be aware that it’s a professional event, and therefore, business attire is expected on the day. Attending students of the WTM visit will be responsible for their own health and safety, STES and its committee members are not liable to any risk incurring.
If you have any enquiry about the WTM visit, please contact STES by email (stes@surrey.ac.uk).
