Hillside Restaurant and Lounge

Hillside offers traditional English or continental breakfast; the ONLY made to order baguette bar on campus; fish and chips cooked the traditional English way.  The largest dining and coffee lounge seating area open for all to use.

Starbucks

Located in Oak House, Starbucks is just like you would find on any High Street. Serving great coffee, it is the place to meet up and enjoy your cappuccino.

Starbucks GSA

Located in GSA building, situated at the entrance to the Stag Hill site. Grab your favourite coffee on your way into University or relax in the Atrium to the sound of music being rehearsed by Broadway’s next stars.

Wates House

Enjoy the wide selection of dishes from their varied menu. Relax in the only bar on campus with a traditional pub atmosphere or enjoy the view from our rooftop terrace. With snooker, pool and darts, Wates has something for everyone.

The Lakeside Restaurant

The perfect place to treat a loved one or enjoy a celebratory meal, the Lakeside Restaurant is open to all University staff, students and members of the public. Located in The School of Management building, the restaurant is a unique operation run by a team of professional staff and ably assisted (during semester time) by the talented students studying on the International Hospitality Management degree programme.

Sorrento

Sorrento is a relaxed venue offering beverages from around the world. Baguettes, sandwiches and wraps are available as well – come and enjoy the piazza view.

Chancellors Restaurant and Bar

Based in the Students’ Union, Chancellors provides a relaxed environment for a wide variety of breakfast, lunchtime and evening meals. All of the food is freshly prepared and the drinks list is just as varied. It has a 120-seat patio overlooking Guildford too. In the evening, Chancellors provides a whole host of entertainments to wind down or stay up late.

Roots Bar

Hidden away in the centre of our busy campus, Roots is the perfect place for you to unwind with friends after a busy day or an ideal place to have a night out.
We are happy to welcome societies, teams and clubs for socials and meetings and are also available for private hire on weekends. A light and airy space with comfy modern seating, Roots offers a selection of wines and beers as well as our own cocktails blends and premium spirits.

Heart+Soul

Heart+Soul located in Manor Park Reception, is the newest outlet to the University of Surrey and the hub of Manor Park Student Village.  Open for coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, dinner and homemade cakes, our quirky environment makes us the perfect place to relax and socialise.  Please email us for reservations or event requests on heartandsoul@surrey.ac.uk

The Living Room

The Living Room in the Students’ Union has undergone a refurbishment and is an alternative place to eat and relax. On weekdays, the venue provides freshly cooked authentic Chinese and Korean cuisine. In the evenings the venue stages a mix of acts and diverse nights provided by Union Clubs and Societies.

To save you going off campus, there’s a small supermarket which sells all the essentials - drinks, snacks, newspapers, magazines and groceries - you’ll need.

The Post Office

The Post Office, situated inside Amigo supermarket, offers a full range of postal services, including Giro Banking, MoneyGram transfers, bill payments, Bureau de Change, Euro on demand, pre-ordering currencies, cash withdrawal and travel insurance.

The Union Shop

The Union Shop is situated at the side entrance on Stag Hill, inside the Students’ Union building.

The Union Shop sells everything you need. It stocks the cheapest lunchtime and evening meal deals on campus, doubles up selling branded merchandise including hooded tops and all of your event tickets are sold for Rubix in here too! It has just started selling low cost stationery, top up cards with Lycamobile, as well as laptop locks for your personal security. In celebration of Surrey’s ever-expanding cultural diversity, the Union shop is also the campus’ first international food store.
