Recruit our graduates
The University of Surrey’s excellent reputation for graduate employment reflects the quality of our students and their readiness for the working world.
Employing our graduates
The majority of our students have already secured a post by the time they graduate.
However, our Employability and Careers service works with recent graduates looking for the right role or a graduate internship that will build their skills.
Hiring a UniTemp
The University of Surrey operates its own temp agency, giving businesses access to bright undergraduate and postgraduates students as well as to recent graduates looking for additional paid work to complement their studies.

Employers are also welcome to offer internships, with many of our students keen to find placements for the summer.
If you would like to promote an internship please contact our Professional Training and Employability team: email@example.com
Borrowing our brains
Each year, we run a number of Ideation Sessions that bring undergraduate and postgraduate students together with academic staff to brainstorm new ideas for business and industry.
Recently, Lloyds Bank came to us when they wanted to explore ideas for deploying new technology in their branches.
If you would like us to run a similar Ideation Session for your business please contact Abi Bradbeer.
Working with our MBA students
Each year our full-time and Executive MBA students work in groups to deliver a short piece of consultancy for a number of businesses.
The projects run for approximately eight weeks, during which time you brief your consultancy team and provide them with the data they need to fully explore the problem you’ve set them.
At the end of the project, the team present their findings and recommendations back to you and their examiners.
All projects are treated with strict confidence, there is no cost to the participating businesses, and the results are yours to keep.
Past projects have included:
- Devising export strategies
- Exploring new markets
- Finding opportunities for efficiencies
- Developing sustainable growth plans
