How the scheme works
In the third year of study, you have the option to complete a work placement within your chosen pathway; all of our undergraduate courses have a Professional Training placement option. Placements are usually applied for via an open and free-to-all process, with our support and guidance given along the way. We encourage you to be proactive and apply for several industry placements yourself, by writing a CV and cover letter.
In an increasingly globalised economy, employers are seeking graduates with an international perspective – those who can work with colleagues from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, embrace new perspectives and demonstrate foreign language skills are in high demand.
You can push yourself further and venture abroad for your placement experience. Some of our business students have carried out their placements across Europe, Asia and Australasia. If you choose to work in Europe you may will be eligible for an Erasmus+ grant.
