Our self-contained campus has everything you need to work, rest and play. Our Library, which is open 24 hours a day, offers modern and comfortable places to study and access to expert support for your studies. Committed to enabling students to study successfully in a digital environment, all taught students (from September 2020) will be provided with free, personal, digital copies of their essential textbooks. The campus also has numerous coffee shops, bars and restaurants, and a convenience store and a weekly food market full of food stands and groceries. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, you can also enjoy our beautiful lake and green spaces without even leaving campus.

We offer a range of support services across campus including the MySurrey Hive, which provides guidance on all student-life related queries, and MySurrey Nest, where you can seek solace in a relaxing environment.
Throughout your time here, our Centre for Wellbeing is here to help take care of your mental and physical wellbeing, and our tutors and Peer Support team are on hand to help you settle in and provide support.

We have more than 6,000 rooms available across our campus sites, with a choice of several price bands to suit your lifestyle needs and budget. All our accommodation is self-catered and over 50 per cent of rooms have en-suite facilities. Students living in our residences benefit from 24/7 security across all sites, wi-fi and possessions insurance.
We have a residence support team on hand to help too.

The annual Graduate Outcomes survey, published by the UK’s Higher Education Standards Agency (HESA), ranks the University of Surrey’s graduates 12th in the country (against other higher education institutions), with 96% finding work or going on to further study after graduating (UK domiciled, undergraduate full-time students).

Surrey offers Professional Training placement opportunities with over 2,300 partner organisations across the UK and abroad, helping you to get a head start in your career. 8. Great transport links
Studying at Surrey means you’ll benefit from our Guildford location. We’re a 10-minute walk from the mainline train station which can take you to central London in just 34 minutes. Heathrow Airport is a 30-minute drive away, Gatwick is within 40 minutes and the beautiful South Coast is within 50 minutes.
A regular bus service runs up to every 10 minutes from the town centre to our campuses, as well as the local Tesco superstore. Most facilities are within walking distance on campus, but all our sites also have bikes for hire to help reduce our carbon footprint.
