Housing Advice

Making the right housing choice

Housing is an important part of your University experience, where and who you live with can affect student life.

Our Housing Advice service aims to provide confidential, non-judgemental support and advice to all students. Often students choose to live in campus halls accommodation in their first year and may live in the private rented sector in subsequent years. Some students apply for a limited number of on campus rooms for continuing students after their first year.

Using the left hand menu you can find information and get advice on deposits, tenancy agreements, and council tax. You can also find advice on handling problems with your landlord to ensure your tenancy arrangement goes smoothly. If you do have problems contact the Student Services Centre or the Accommodation Office for further advice.
