The Student Services Centre can help if you need information, advice and guidance, or support regarding general non-academic enquiries. Friendly staff are trained to deal with a wide range of enquiries and are a key source of information on many University services.

About the Student Services Centre

Think of us as a ‘first-stop shop’ - we have friendly staff trained to deal with a wide range of enquiries and provide key information and help on many University services. If we can’t answer your question, we'll contact colleagues to get the answer or direct you elsewhere if needs be. Current students can access a range of personal information and update certain data through the student records self service portal.

Research Degrees Administration

Student support and administration for PGR Students is centralised and is located in LC03 in the Library.


The Student Life Mentoring service provides proactive support to new students to ensure you transition into University and enjoy your student experience. 

A team of 55 mentors visit new student mentees regularly, providing peer help, support and information whenever needed. If mentors can't help directly they'll refer you to other support services which can.
