Mobile Connect and Assisted Listening

What systems are available for Assisted Listening?

There are two types of assisted listening facilities available. These are induction loops and Sennheiser Mobile Connect.

Or scan the below QR code:

The app will allow you to listen to the speech re-enforcement and program audio from the room via any assisted listening system you can connect to your device. There is also a demo built into the app which you can test ahead of your visit.

To use the app follow the instructions below.

  1. Once in one of the Mobile Connect rooms please connect your device Wi-Fi to one of the appropriate mobile connect stations, which will appear as “[room name] Mobile Connect”, e.g. “03MS01 Mobile Connect”.
  2. Now open the app from your device, and select the appropriate stream.
  3. You will then be able to adjust the volume of the broadcast using your devices controls, as well as the tone using the “personal hearing assistant”
  4. If you require access to the assistive listening system but do not have a compatible device the Learning Spaces Technology team can provide a loan system which can connect to any 3.5mm Jack compatible assistive system or can be supplied with a personal induction loop which works with a hearing aids “T” position. Please contact your event’s organiser to request this equipment.
