Alexander Goldberg is the Jewish Chaplain to the University.

The 'Rav' is often found in the Chaplaincy office in Wey Flat, Surrey Court. Alex is there for a chat and is the best person to go to for exam issues (including festival clashes), Jewish needs, Kosher Guildford, welfare advice and home hospitality.

Alexander is also the Jewish Chaplain and the International Interfaith and Community Relations Advisor to the JDC, which is the largest Jewish humanitarian organisation in the world.

He is the co-chair of the Faith Forums for London, the Football Association's Ambassador for Social Inclusion, a member of London 2012 Faith Reference Group, UN delegation lead for Consultative Council of Jewish Organisations and delegate to the BBC Standing Conference on Religion and Belief. In June 2011, he was appointed chair of the Football Association's Faith in Football group. He is a regular contributor to television, radio,online and print media.
