Studentships

Vice-Chancellor’s studentship award 2020

Funding information:
This competition funded studentship covers international fees and a stipend at UKRI Rate (currently £15,009), alongside a research training support grant of £1,000 per annum.

Verification of security and privacy in modern communication protocols

Funding information:
A stipend of £16,000 per annum, tax-free, subject to nationality and residence status. Fees are covered for UK/EU students.

Uncertainty quantification in high-dimensional spaces with Bayesian deep learning

Funding information:
Stipend: £16,000 per annum. Fees:  Studentship Fees are covered at UK /EU rates.  The studentship is open to both UK/EU students (full award – tuition plus stipend) and international students (partial award - tuition at the UK/EU rate plus stipend). International applicants are encouraged to apply for a fee scholarship to reduce tuition fees to the UK/EU rate.

The Doctoral College supports the academic and professional development of postgraduate researchers to ensure our world-leading research continues to grow. There is also an extensive Researcher Development Programme run at university level.

Facilities

To support our courses we have an extensive set of facilities including computer labs, free software, and a High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster.
