Data science has been hailed as one of the ‘sexiest careers of the 21st century’ and as an analytical PhD/Masters student, you have all the skills and motivation to succeed. Yet it can be hard to get your first data science job if you’ve never worked in industry before. Neal and Philip will cover the data science industry and the sort of work roles you might undertake as a Physics/science postgraduate. Please see here for more info and to register:

While this talk is aimed mainly at PhDs/researchers, Masters and final year students are also welcome to attend. The talk starts at 12.30pm and lunch will be available from 12.15pm.
